Start with the work you already do
Open a patient, add a consultation and keep the documents that follow on that patient’s timeline. A prescription, certificate, referral or billing entry remains connected to the person it belongs to, so the next encounter starts with context.
The phone app is where clinical work happens. This website provides product information, account access, optional AI subscriptions and a public document verifier. Download PracProof from your phone’s app store to use the practice tools.
A free core, with AI as an optional add-on
You can write notes and prepare documents without buying AI. The founding-doctor offer includes the core patient-record and document workflows; it is not a promise that every future service will be free.
Optional AI Scribe turns a recorded consultation into a draft you review. Research returns referenced answers for you to inspect. AI can also help draft referral and PMB text from selected notes. The clinician checks the facts, completes missing details and decides what to save or share.
Follow the consultation through
A reviewed consultation can be saved with a selected billing code. That creates a linked local billing entry; it does not submit a medical-scheme claim or confirm payment. The referral and PMB workflows help carry the relevant history into the next document.

Keep control of your records
Core records are stored on the phone. Use the encrypted backup and restore workflow and keep your backup passphrase safe. A phone is not a substitute for a considered record-retention and backup process.
Selected on-device records and reference material can be used offline. AI recording processing and Research require connectivity; opening an external reference may also need an internet connection.

Do I need a card to try the core app?
No. Core access is free for founding South African doctors. The optional two-week AI trial also requires no card and includes 20 recorded consults and 20 shared AI uses.

Core access is free for founding South African doctors. AI Essential is R299/month with 200 recorded consultations and 300 shared AI uses; Plus is R599/month with 400 and 600; Max is R999/month with 700 and 900. Each plan covers one prescriber and includes the same AI tools.
The 14-day trial includes 20 recordings and 20 shared AI uses. No card and no automatic paid subscription. Maximum 30 minutes of recording per consultation. Each recorded consultation includes its initial transcript and note. Research answers, Assistant replies, AI document drafts and camera scans share the AI allowance. Manual editing, copying, saving, PDF export and printing use no AI credits. Allowances reset each calendar month; unused uses do not roll over.
