Choose the patient and medicine
Start from the patient and search the medicine picker. Select the intended medicine and formulation, then enter the dose and directions for this prescription. The dose field starts empty: choosing a search result does not decide a regimen for you.
Check the product, strength, route, directions, quantity and relevant patient factors before completing the prescription. A search match is a document-entry aid, not a clinical recommendation.
Read the document before sharing
Open the preview to inspect the patient details, prescription text and prescriber information together. Make corrections in the form, then prepare the PDF for sharing or printing through the phone’s available options.
Sharing opens the device workflow. It does not confirm that a patient, pharmacy or other recipient received the document. Use your usual process to confirm the intended recipient and delivery.
The current workflow produces a prescription PDF. Advanced Electronic Signature (AES) signing is not live; a signature image or QR check should not be presented as an AES signature.
Keep the prescription in context
The saved document sits alongside the patient’s consultations and other records. At a follow-up, open that history rather than relying on a loose file or an old message thread.
PracProof also provides separate sick-note, referral, PMB and invoice workflows. Use the document that matches the task instead of changing a prescription template into another kind of letter.
What the demonstration shows
The short film follows a fictional patient through medicine search, manual entry, preview and the share step. It includes a fictional Augmentin prescription to show the controls; it is not advice to prescribe that medicine or use that example regimen.
The app does not turn a generated PDF into a pharmacy dispensing confirmation or a medical-scheme claim. Review the final document and meet the requirements that apply to your prescription and practice.
