Start each encounter with context
Open the patient to find the consultation timeline and saved records. Previous notes and documents help you locate what was recorded at earlier encounters before you add the next one.
The timeline supports different record types, including consultation notes, prescriptions, sick notes, referrals, invoices, billing entries and PMB documents. A saved Research note can also remain in the patient context after you review it.
Write a note or review an AI draft
Choose a manual consultation note for direct entry. If you subscribe to the optional AI add-on, a recorded consultation can produce a draft to review and save.
A selected note can then inform another task, such as preparing a referral. Choose the relevant records rather than treating the entire history as equally applicable to the current question.
Keep clinical and administrative context connected
Save a reviewed consultation with a selected billing code when appropriate. The resulting local entry gives the practice a link between the encounter and its administrative record.
That connection does not itself submit a claim, calculate a guaranteed payment or replace the practice’s reconciliation process. Review the entry and complete the next billing step in the system your practice uses.
Plan for the phone you might lose
Core records are stored on the device. Use PracProof’s encrypted backup workflow and retain a safe copy, separate from the phone, together with a secure way to recover your passphrase. Restore is available for moving the saved record to a replacement device.
Offline access to stored records is useful when connectivity is limited. AI processing and online Research still need a connection. Arrange your own retention, access-control and recovery process for the way your practice works.
