What is free, and what costs extra?
Core practice tools are free forever for founding South African doctors, and everyone who joins now is a founding doctor. There is no card and no core subscription. AI Scribe and Research are optional paid add-ons, from R299/month per prescriber. Ending an AI trial or subscription does not remove your free core tools.
Do I use PracProof on my phone or on this website?
Use the Android or iPhone app for patient records and clinical work. This website provides guides, document verification and account management. Buy, manage or cancel optional add-ons on this website, using the same account as the app. After payment, open Account → Your plan & add-ons in the app while online to refresh access.
What happens after the AI trial?
The 14-day trial includes 20 recorded consultations and 20 shared AI uses across Research, Assistant, document drafts and camera scans. No card is needed and it does not become a paid subscription automatically. Trial recordings and shared AI uses made in the same month count toward a subsequent subscription allowance. Choose a plan on this website only if you want to continue.
Can I use the app offline or change phones?
Selected local records and reference tools work offline. AI processing and Research need a connection. Make encrypted backups regularly and keep the passphrase safe. Restore a backup on your new phone; signing in alone does not restore locally stored records.
Are accredited AES e-scripts available?
Not yet. The planned accredited Advanced Electronic Signature service is separate from the available prescription PDF and QR-summary tools. An ordinary signature image or a valid QR summary is not an AES signature. Contact admin@pracproof.co.za for updates.
